Sunroof features
- Venus safety glass, with a special grey tint, provides protection from 99% of the sun’s heat and UV rays. This makes them ideal for our harsh climate.
- Soft touch control means you don’t need to hold the button to open or close the sunroof – a single, quick touch will activate the selected function.
- Programmable open positions allow you to set your two favourite positions (for the Spoiler sunroof 300 and Single Panel 700 sunroof) or one favourite position (in the case of the Twin Panel 900 sunroof).
- Vent positions can be varied according to your airflow requirements.
- The auto-close feature activates each time the ignition is turned off. You can easily override this function with the touch of a button should you wish to leave the sunroof open while you’re parked.
- The optional rain sensor allows you to park your car and leave the sunroof open for ventilation on a hot summer’s day without having to worry about unpredictable rainstorms. A sensor located on the windscreen, which detects light disturbance caused by raindrops, ensures that the sunroof will close at the first sign of rain.
- Vehicle safety systems such as air-bag curtains are not compromised. Side Impact Protection System (SIPS) bars are replaced with TUV-approved Roof Stiffener Replacement System where necessary. (TUV is the German testing and certification authority).
- Roof DVD systems can still be fitted when the vehicle has one of our sunroofs.
- Interior lights are simply relocated and roof consoles modified to accommodate the sunroof as required.
- Interior climate control is enhanced with Venus safety glass. An open sunroof, used in conjunction with air-conditioning, provides a regular removal of stale air from within the vehicle.

This tilt-up glass panel sunroof, with a trim shell interior finish and has multiple adjustable glass positions. Made from Venus safety glass, it protects vehicle occupants from 99% of the sun’s rays.

Single Panel 700 sunroof
New Zealand’s most popular integrated (built-in) tilt and slide sunroof comprises a glass panel, which slides inside the roof of the car. The tilt position allows for ventilation, while Venus safety glass protects vehicle occupants from 99% of the sun’s rays. The interior sliding sunshade is supplied in a trim which matches the vehicle’s roof lining.
The sunroof is operated by a soft-touch electrical system via a conveniently illuminated control panel. The system is fully programmable to open to your favourite positions.
Single panel sunroofs are available in various sizes to fit most small, medium and large vehicles, including hatchbacks, 4WDs, larger coupes and dual cab utes.
For added security, there is an auto close feature, which closes the roof when the ignition is turned off. This can be overridden if desired. An anti-trap function keeps the sunroof from closing on obstacles.

Spoiler sunRoof 300
Available in manual or electric operation, this sporty and economical alternative tilts up, then slides back over the roof for added ventilation. Electric soft-touch operation via an illuminated control panel allows you to program the Spoiler Sunroof 300 to open to your favourite positions. A rollaway interior sunshade comes standard on the electric model.
For added security, there is an auto close feature, which closes the roof when the ignition is turned off. This can be overridden if desired. An anti-trap function keeps the sunroof from closing on obstacles.

Twin Panel 900 Sunroof
Get more sunshine and fresh air than you ever thought imaginable with the Twin Panel 900 Sunroof.
This unique twin panel design offers the largest glass area of any inbuilt aftermarket sunroof. It combines a robust wind deflector with an ultra-silent motor for quieter sunroof operation and a more enjoyable ride.
The Twin Panel 900 Sunroof is available in a wide variety of sizes to suit most small, medium and large vehicles, including hatchbacks, 4WDs, larger coupes and dual cab utes. A selection of colour-coded vents and handles ensures that your sunroof complements your vehicle perfectly.
The innovative Twin Venting Glass Panels and Twin Vents deliver more fresh air than any other conventional sunroof. The front panel tilts to allow maximum ventilation and acts as a wind deflector. The inbuilt sliding glass rear panel is made from Venus safety glass, which protects vehicle occupants from 99% of the sun’s rays. The integrated sunblind affords added protection from the sun.
