”The RVE Configurator is a web-based tool that allows the user to add and tailor accessories, including RVE's range of seat and trim upgrades. The customer can do this on their own computer prior to a dealership, or with the sales team on site. The first dealer installation of the RVE Configurator is on a large touch screen display unit, complete with leather and wheel samples, at John Andrew Ford in Auckland's Grey Lynn. RVE's marketing manager Jim Stanners says development of the system began during lockdown, as the directors looked for projects that could be done while the doors of the business were closed. "We got into development," he explains. "Some of went into physically developing new product, and some of us jumped into the tech side of where we thought the industry might go."
