Seat heater control switches can be mounted on the side trim, of the seat, center console and sometimes in the dash area. This is vehicle dependent due to the space available.

Every vehicle is different, so seat heaters switches will be mounted in the appropriate position.
RVE seat heaters are equipped with the latest switch technology. The illuminated 2 color, dual temperature high/low rocker style round switch, has been developed to provide you with new styling features. (this switch cannot be replaced with a factory vehicle switch, as it contains vital internal electronics)
New Dual Temperature control system
The primary system is an electronic control module which regulates the electricity and temperature circulating within the carbon fiber seat heating pads. This regulates the flow of power in micro-pulse and maintains a narrower temperature range whether in a high or low setting.
The high setting has a constant range between 50°C to 52°C. The low setting ranges between 45°C to 46°C. These temperatures are maintained at these respective levels and will vary with the thickness and type of seat covers fitted. The seated occupant will feel different temperatures depending on the type of clothing being worn.
The secondary system is a traditional bi-metal thermostatic control unit. This system is the standard with most of the available units in the marketplace. With the RVE seat heater, this is the back-up system. This system manages the seat heater temperature in a similar way to that of your home thermostat.
In either the high or low setting once the maximum temperature limit is achieved, the system shuts down until the low-end temperature is reached at which point the bimetal thermostat reconnects to resume the distribution of electricity. This bimetal system will only be activated as a safeguard if the primary electronic control module failed.
